San Antonio’s Big Breakfasts and Historical Spots

San Antonio is the second largest city in Texas and is known for its amazing foods and architecture.  Hotels and restaurants here are truly unique, even from each other. You can expect them to be decorated in all kinds of different styles because the city has so many different and cross cultural influences including Mexican, Spanish, German, Spanish, Indian and the traditional deep South. The three main attractions in San Antonio are the Riverboat tours, the Alamo and the Institute of Texas Cultures.  The Alamo is a mission that was the site of a famous battle between American and Mexican forces during the Texas revolution and many of the San Antonio bed and breakfasts are located within steps of these famous sights.

 

The downtown area features a famous River walk that is lined with numerous highly rated bars and restaurants including the well-known Mexican restaurant known as La Palmita. The area also includes many restaurants that feature fancy fusion cuisines such as a fusion of French and Southern cooking and Creole and Spanish cooking.
